Ecoserv performed an investment task for Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej in Suwałki at ul. Przemysłowa 6A, consisting in the “Construction of a new flue gas dedusting system for WR-25 boilers No. 2 and No. 3 at the Main Heating Plant of PEC in Suwałki”.
The works related to the investment were carried out based on a contract concluded in December 2021 and ended with the commissioning of the system in October 2022.
The net contract amount was PLN 4,400,000.
The aim of the investment was to install new flue gas dedusting systems independently for each of the boilers WR 25 No. 2 and WR 25 No. 3, so that, as a result of hard coal combustion in the whole operation range of the boilers, dust concentration would not exceed 20 mg/Nm3.
The systems are based on the installation of four FP-3×140/3.0/697 horizontal bag filters.
Scope of works:
- Preparation of construction, electrical, and C&I documentation as well as process documentation of the dedusting system.
- Obtaining the necessary administrative permits, including the construction permit.
- Laying the necessary foundations.
- Supply and assemble four FP-3×140/3.0/697 bag filters in a horizontal arrangement.
- Supply and assembly of a compressed air system.
- Supply and assembly of flue gas ducts for the exhaust fans and a collector pipe for the stack, enabling the flue gas monitoring system installation.
- Supply and assembly of the dust collection system.
- Overhaul of the exhaust fans.
- Execution of electrical system as well as Control and Instrumentation.
- System thermal insulation.
- Participation in start-up, training, final acceptance, and commissioning of the dedusting systems.
