Ecoserv carried out an investment task for Dalkia Polska Energia S.A. in Mysłowice consisting in the “Design and execution of the modernisation of the slag removal system in the boiler house of Production Plant No. 9 “Wesoła” in Mysłowice”.
The works related to the investment were carried out based on a contract concluded in January 2022 and ended with the commissioning of the investment in May 2023.
The net contract amount was approx. PLN 350,000.
The investment aimed to prepare the technical and detailed design for the modernisation works, to carry out construction works for the new storage yard, to install a new inclined belt conveyor, to carry out electrical and C&I works related to the control of the new and modernised equipment, and to integrate it with the existing power supply systems.
Scope of works:
- Preparation and delivery of complete documentation necessary for proper execution of the task including, in particular:
a) detailed designs of all branches
b) technical and operation documentation and manuals for the installed machinery and equipment
d) as-built documentation
e) acceptance documentation - Execution of construction, preparation, and demolition works:
a) construction of a storage yard of approx. 50 m2 for furnace waste
b) adaptation of the building includes replacing the façade cladding in the place of the conveyor exit outside the building - Delivery and assembly of:
a) a new conveyor including the installation of a new drive system, belt adjustment, and tensioning system,
b) service platforms
c) a transfer system - Commissioning, tests, and start-up of all modernized equipment.
